They knew that they had taken it too far. I saw the fear when I opened my own eyes, and saw myself reflected in theirs.

The room at a tilt, bathed in pain.

I knew that I could live with the scar, and even the violation. A split second of silence became a shift in power, and I had become a real person again. It had gone too far. And they were afraid of me for being so real.
